Room Damage Definition
Room damage refers to any physical harm or alteration to hotel property caused by guests, whether intentional or unintentional. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to furniture, fixtures, fittings, equipment, and decor in guest rooms, such as broken furniture, damaged walls, stains on carpets or bedding, painting of walls, replacement of furniture, burns, water damage, excessive dirt, or smoking in the room.
A. Inspection Procedures: After a guest checks out, our teams conduct an inspection of the room to identify any damage.
B. Responsibility for Damage: The guest who booked the room is held responsible for any damage that may occur during their stay. This includes damage caused by themselves, their guests, or their children.
C. Documentation and Evidence: Any damage detected is documented with photographs. This evidence is used to support the assessment of charges and to communicate the matter to the guest.
D. Deposit Amount: The amount of the damage invoice varies depending on the room damage and can start from 30 USD.
E. Payment Methods: We accept damage invoices by credit card, debit card, or cash. The selected method will be collected at check-out.
